LSIPs is a project created and funded by the UK Government for the Department for Education. The project is to utilise the connectivity of employer representative bodies (ERB) to research future skills needs within certain sectors and how these future needs tie in with the current or planned provision. Working closely with a wide variety of stakeholders & neighbouring Chambers to clearly understand the current situation and with employers to understand their vision for the future of skills in their sector. To discover the strengths, weaknesses and to analyse any gaps. Bringing this all together, working in partnership, to find innovative ways to provide the right skills for the future. Putting employer\'s at the forefront of skills planning. Shropshire Chamber is the designated ERB for the Marches area – Herefordshire, Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire.
