About Rosie Smolowitz
I’m a second-year Benjamin N. Duke Scholar at Duke University, double majoring in Global Health and Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I’m driven by a vision of making effective, accessible care a reality for all individuals and communities—regardless of the barriers posed by health inequities. My service work explores the intersection of community health and identity-based advocacy, often leveraging my Spanish fluency and medical training to support others in meaningful ways.I hope to pursue a career in Emergency Medicine, where I can unite my passions for both mental and physical healthcare to promote holistic patient wellness. I’m always seeking new opportunities to deepen this work and to make a difference, even if it\'s just by making one person smile.
