ABOUT ROSIE IREDALE
I am a highly experienced and dedicated professional with a profound passion for positively impacting the lives of both young people and adults. Over the course of nearly two decades, I have immersed myself in the fields of Education, Social Care, and Housing, consistently striving for innovative approaches to achieve remarkable outcomes. My journey encompasses reducing unemployment rates and creating housing opportunities specifically tailored for care leavers. Armed with a master\'s in leadership and management, I have acquired extensive qualifications in critical areas such as safeguarding and autism spectrum training. My commitment extends beyond professional roles, as evidenced by my founding of a children\'s Charity and serving as a Trustee for other Charitable organisations. I actively raise funds for causes close to my heart, showcasing a genuine care for both people and the environment. Currently, I am deeply engaged in purpose-driven work, particularly focusing on children leaving care and housing provision within the Learning Difficulties and Autism (LD & A) sector. My educational achievements include a Level 4 NVQ in Education, an NVQ Level 5 (degree equivalent) in Residential Children’s Home Management, and a Level 7 (Masters Equivalent) in Leadership and Management. Additionally, I have completed three distinct business courses, further enriching my expertise. Presently, I am focused on building on the success of the Bristol Staying Close Pilot. One key initiative involves constructing annexes in the gardens of children\'s homes, fostering support and independence. This endeavour significantly enhances the readiness of young individuals to live independently. Another pivotal aspect is the expansion of the pre-apprenticeship programme, a crucial stepping stone into the world of work for those considered hard to reach. In my pursuit of continuous improvement, I am eager to collaborate with individuals and organisations interested in supporting care leavers, prisoner leavers, the unemployed, or homeless individuals, particularly in fundamental aspects of housing and employment. If you share my commitment to making a difference, please don\'t hesitate to reach out, and let\'s explore how we can work together towards meaningful change.
