ABOUT ROSHAWN JAMASI
I work in clinical research within academic medicine, supporting patient screening, recruitment workflows, and data abstraction for investigator-initiated studies and industry clinical trials in a large tertiary-care setting.My work focuses on the operational side of research, helping teams move from protocol to practice by improving recruitment processes, managing real-world clinical data, and supporting ethics-approved research workflows. I am particularly interested in how research systems can be designed to reduce barriers to participation and improve access to care.In parallel, I serve as CEO of a community-based nonprofit organization focused on addressing homeless health through scalable, data-driven distribution programs. This work has involved organizational leadership, partnerships, program development, and frontline service delivery.Across both research and community work, my interests lie at the intersection of clinical research operations, access to care, and system design.Education includes graduate-level training in biomedical sciences at Harvard University, post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Calgary, and undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto.
