Senior System Safety Engineer - Autonomous Driving Behavior @Waymo

Lead the Autonomy Driving and Behavior Software safety analysis on various software modules to drive System safety - Planner, Behavior Prediction concentration areas, including Machine Learning models- Identify necessary safety mitigations based on Hazard analysis and data from on-road driving behavior for Autonomy Software - Planner, Behavior Prediction- Lead SOTIF (ISO 21448) related analysis for Autonomous driving functions- Safety oncall engineers on rotation - Assure the safety mitigations are appropriately implemented in the software through SW verification tests (unit tests and simulation)- Conduct autonomy behavioral safety analysis based on vehicle behavior in real world situations- Carry out Functional Safety analysis on Autonomy Compute Hardware using ISO 26262 - Functional Safety (FuSa) and ISO 21448 - Safety of the intended function (SOTIF)
