Managing approximately 450 properties in the London Borough of Islington. • Managing Anti-Social Behaviour and tackling youth nuisance and gang related issues, as well as neighbour disputes and animal nuisance • Attending court for various reasons, such as injunctions and possession orders. • Supporting people who have learning difficulties, mental health disabilities and physical disabilities. • Dealing with and supporting victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Abuse and Hate Crime • Carrying out new tenant visits within 6 weeks and then 10 month checks • Carrying out property audit checks to ensure no one is subletting their property or using it for illegal or immoral purposes • Answering complaints, councillors and members enquiries within the target date • Assessing the estates through inspections and working with colleagues and partners to improve the area • Working with the Tenants and Residents Associations in resident involvement and community activities for example on an estate working with the Social Financial and Inclusion Team to arrange apprenticeships. • Making referrals to necessary agencies such as social services, mental health and child protection. • I am the safeguarding advisor for our region.
