Coordinating with cross-functional departments for ascertaining procurement plans of raw materials; ascertaining that the raw material and chemicals reach the factory at the stipulated time\\\\n• Establishing & executing key strategies for the purchase of materials from sources; achieving cost reduction in procurement & packaging; receiving indent, floating inquiry, receiving quotation, negotiation, taking approval and placing order\\\\n• Developing, implementing & purchasing, ensuring contract management instructions, policies & procedures; preparing MIS reports of inward/ outward logistics to appraise top management and users of the routine inventory management activities\\\\n• Configuring MRP processes, process orders, repetitive manufacturing, classification, batch management, capacity planning and demand management and tracking inventory levels in the stores for all items required\\\\n• Managing the inventory levels, thereby ensuring optimum use of inventory\\\\n• Identifying & developing potential vendors/ suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness; assessing performance of the vendors based on their competitiveness, reaction capabilities\\\\n• Conducting vendor visits for ensuring the time bound delivery; managing price & technical negotiations and vendor process; ensuring follow-up with vendors for release schedules, quality checks & timely payments to vendors\\\\n• Upgrading the relationship between procurement and production team; increasing efficiency by planning & expediting purchase order delivery; issuing Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with the selected vendors, price & technical specifications\\\\n• Drafting inquiry documents (technical & commercial) & floating inquiries to the suitable vendors; following up with the vendors to get the quotations on-time to avoid any delay\\\\n• Formulating alternate vendor base to achieve cost reduction, increase revenues, and streamline process workflow.\\\\n\\\\n\\\\n
