About Roshan Kumar

I\'m a Civil Engg. Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. In my junior year, I hold two Positions of Responsibilities, including the Events Manager of the Technical Board at IIT Guwahati, which has taught me people skills where I\'m responsible for organizing Techevience and Kriti, The annual showcase of all Projects and Ideas under the Technical Board, and The annual Inter-Hostel Tech competition. I am also the Project Lead of Antahsagri, an underwater, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) created by a group of interdisciplinary students at IIT Guwahati to support underwater robotics research and development.My academic and professional interests include Data Science, Analytics, and Quant. I have a keen interest in Robotics and having worked on Yuvaan (Mars Rover of IIT Guwahati) and AntahSagari, I am keen on deploying various models to complete the tasks. I am also a big fan of F1, Linkin Park, Movies, and poetry.I am open to Data Science/Analytics/Research/SDE/Quant intern roles for the summer of 2023.I am currently working on a research project at UoU under Dr. Vivek Gupta on the Natural Language Processing on Table Extraction Task.
