About Ben Rosenberg
I’m a sophomore at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, majoring in finance and accounting. I am passionate about leadership, collaborating with others, and improving my community. I have learned that these qualities are an important part of who I am and have helped me be in the position I am today. As the captain of my varsity hockey team in a town that adores hockey, I was a role model and leader for the next generation of players. Following a state championship season a friend of mine had the idea to run a camp for the kids in our town and surrounding area. As a leader in the community he assigned me as the head instructor/director. The camp has now been a huge success for the past two summers with an increase in attendees since we started, and we hope to extend the camp for an additional week this upcoming summer.Now at Indiana University I strive to find new opportunities to expand my professional and personal strengths. I am improving my professional versatility by majoring in both finance and accounting, which will make me a well rounded candidate for a financial career. I am a member of the men’s club ice hockey team with aspirations to hold a leadership position this upcoming season. Beyond that I have joined the Fintech club, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, and the Alternate Investment Group. These clubs allow me to delve into different sectors of the business world and satisfy my desire to learn more about specific sectors such as financial technology.
