Rather than provide you with a traditional background in a resume format I will instead share “my story.” Isn’t our story what makes us unique? Yes - I am a certified public accountant and now own a fire protection company, Geyer Fire. The connection between both fields is stronger than you may realize – both are all about solving problems for our customers. I am an avid learner and passionate about working with our customers to solve problems and minimize potential losses and fines due to noncompliance or other system issues. I was fortunate to have spent several years at Ernst & Young working with brilliant colleagues on tax planning strategies for multinational corporations. This experience positioned me for my greatest challenge of leading Geyer Fire. In 2011 an opportunity arose to enter the fire protection with family and we launched Geyer Fire. Sure this was a new arena but I have always been a curious individual so getting into the industry, learning codes, interacting with a new community, and simply getting things done was a welcomed challenge! As the team quarterback of Geyer Fire, I am responsible for leading business development, overseeing the daily operation of the organization and setting forth the strategic direction. I enjoy getting to know backgrounds of colleagues so I figured I would briefly share some of my own. I have been fortunate in my career to interact with great individuals who have highly promoted me and my business. I enjoy what I do and want to share the good fortunes I have received with my community, network of friends, customers, employees, and others. I welcome getting to know you more!
