I am a seasoned executive with global experience in international business, strategic planning, and organizational growth. My career has spanned leadership at NCH Corporation, where I oversaw worldwide initiatives across the United States and Western and Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia to a second career in integration of high tier communications for warfaring on land and sea, and to decades of volunteer leadership advancing maritime education, youth development, and nonprofit governance.From September 2001 to my retirement in 2014, I was involved in maritime and military-related work, focusing on deployable land-based as well as shipboard communications integration. Today, I combine this background with my passion for workforce development on the Virginia Peninsula — creating pathways for youth and adults into maritime trades and careers on the water.As Chair of several Committees of Youth Sailing Virginia over the past 10 years, and a member of Academies of Hampton Maritime Advisory Board, and as Founder & Chair of the Peninsula Maritime Center Advisory Committee, I lead initiatives that connect community partners, strengthen organizational sustainability, and expand maritime career opportunities for the next generation.
