   The Executive Director of Development is responsible for implementing an aggressive fund-raising program centered on the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospects at the level. I cultivate and solicit major gift prospects through personal visits and written and oral communications;I work with the President, Vice President, faculty and volunteers to identify potential donors; and also involve those individuals in appropriate fund-raising activities such as the cultivation and solicitation of major gift prospects;I travel (over 50% of time) making a minimum of 170 personal visits annually for cultivation and solicitation of major gifts.I develop and prepare briefing materials and written proposals leading to major gift solicitations;I played a major role in the successful completion of the College’s recent $70 million capital campaign;
