I began working at the MEN as a pop columnist in 1989 when I was presenting a radio show for BBC Radio One. I was also an entertainment feature writer for the paper interviewing celebrities and wrote lifestyle features for the Manchester Evening News magazine. I contributed regular features to the Women\'s Page including a personal diary called \'Ro In The Raw\'. I then moved on to write a regular weekly feature for the Homes section. Highlights of my time include an interview with Liam and Noel Gallagher\'s Mum Peggy Gallagher for a Mother\'s Day feature at the height of Oasis madness! In the 19 years I freelanced as a journalist for the MEN I wrote a feature or column every week which is a feat I\'m now proud of! I now write a regular Whats On column for the Stockport Express about all the events we host at Seven Miles Out Arts Centre in Stockport.
