Performing full cycle recruitment (from creation to hire) primarily for all clinical and allied health positions• Manages the full life cycle recruitment process such as job posting, resume sourcing, screening, interviewing, job offers, etc, utilizing a variety of recruitment methods.• Collaborating with management to determine and address staffing needs• Implementing recruitment and retention strategies in coordination with the hospital’s strategic plan that successfully reduces vacancy and avoids interim labor costs/agency fees• Uses a variety of methods (including data mining of the internet, cold calling, on-line databases, social media, internal database, employee referrals, and career fairs, etc.) to source candidates who meet the target profiles and applying screening techniques to refine the candidate pool.• Screens candidates for availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications. Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education, skills, training, and fit with the hospital, and future potential.• Recommends candidates to hiring managers based on objective criteria used in the interview process and partner with managers to help them in the selection of the right candidate. • Daily collaborates with line management to build strong business unit relationships and support the individual unit’s recruitment needs.• Supports new hire on-boarding and internal employee development initiatives where appropriate. •Follows up with new hires to address any retention issues.• Represents Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital at local and out of area Job Fairs. • Attends career/job fairs and partners with colleges to promote hospital. • Responds to all inquiries about employment with appropriate information in a timely manner.• Prepares and submits recruitment advertising in newspapers, journals, bulletins and other media as needed.
