With over 11 years of experience in bids, marketing and business development, I have worked in both the construction and professional services sectors. As Senior Proposals Manager for the West region of Balfour Beatty, I led the production of quality submissions on PQQs and tenders for building and civil engineering projects and frameworks, ranging in value from £5m to £1bn. My role also involved elements of business development, public relations and marketing. Previous experience includes working at Addleshaw Goddard as Business Development Executive. This involved working on a range of pitches across the private and public sector and for all areas of law. This included making bid / no bid decisions, developing tailored bid strategies, writing and compiling creative and client-focussed bid submissions and coaching presentation teams.
