I lead and manage a newly developed team of risk specialists providing risk oversight for large scaled initiatives with a vision to enable delivery excellence and early value realization while keeping the Bank safe.Risk Marketplace (RMP) is a new model which has been implemented within select businesses, which provides dedicated risk resources who are embedded within business projects and programs. The Risk Marketplace team interacts real-time, ensuring all risk and control objectives are met, enabling delivery excellence and early value realization while keeping the Bank safe. The target operating model builds on TD\'s strong risk awareness culture, embraces a service mindset and focuses on value creation to deliver quality business outcomes faster.The mandate for the 1B Risk Marketplace is to facilitate value creation by embedding risk management throughout programs and journeys. We do this by:• Identifying, managing and monitoring project risks• Designing, implementing, assessing and maintaining effective internal controls• Providing generalist risk knowledge to project teams• Liaising with SMEs when risk-specific input is needed• Liaising with the second-line Control Functions• Monitoring projects to ensure that risks are adequately addressed• Escalating risk issues where applicable• Reporting leading practices to the Risk Marketplace Governing Body• Promoting a culture of risk awareness and ownership
