About Rose Huang

As a Senior Marketplace Manager at Pattern, I manage the strategy and growth of our Walmart business. This includes managing relationships with Walmart and brand partners/clients, growing our clients\' GMV at the largest omnichannel retailer in the world while doing so profitably, and navigating the field of e-commerce across all the different categories that our clients play in. In the day-to-day, I also advise clients on go-to-market strategy, how to avoid cross-channel conflicts, compliance, promotional strategy, and digital advertising solutions on Walmart. Many of our clients are premium brands and Walmart is a new channel for them, which makes it interesting as we cold-start launch their products on the site. On the other hand, some clients have had direct 1P relationships with Walmart and are trying to learn how to navigate the newer 3P Marketplace side of the business.Something that really excites me at work is getting to test out beta programs that Walmart launches, which allows me to give recommendations based on what would help our clients the most. I also enjoy the fast-paced growth of both Walmart Marketplace and Pattern, making my job exhilarating as I get to create or change processes according to what is happening on those fronts.
