I am Partner, Head of Business Development, at ALI | ANTITRUST LITIGATION INVESTMENT, an Italian litigation funder that promotes, funds and manages damages actions for breach of the antitrust rules. Founded in 2015, before Directive 2014/104/EU on damages actions for breach of the EU antitrust rules was implemented in Italy with Legislative Decree no. 3/2017, it is the market leader in Italy, boasting unrivaled experience. Following the European Commission\'s 2016 decision on the Truck Cartel, in collaboration with the associations CNA FITA and ASSOPETROLI, ALI promoted and fuded the collective action which in Italy has gathered the largest number of members (over companies with vehicles for a total value of damages exceeding €500 million) and which won the 1st edition of the ANTITRUST AWARD, established in 2017 by the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) to promote the development of the culture of competition and consumer rights.
