   Responsible for oversight of functional areas of long- and short- range staffing issues. Serve as an adviser to the senior management staff of Field Operations. Develop full time equivalency staffing standards and lead multi-disciplinary studies that impact on assigned staffing levels within the directorate. Recommend changes to or new processes that impact on staffing patterns, staffing levels, organizational structures, human resource allocations, span of control issues and streamlining of operations. Conduct in-depth analyses and assessment of staffing issues to include job analysis of existing or proposed positions. Analyze and consolidate information/reports and recommend changes in the allocation of human resources. Analyze various types of resources and data to accomplish projects, complete assignments, evaluate proposals, problems or other matters that require action by the Field Management Staff. Coordinate with the special agent/industry operations investigator (IOI) recruitment personnel and the DADs to ensure placement of new hired special agents and IOIs. Serve as a primary liaison with HR regarding PWPs to ensure compliance by FO with established procedures.Conduct complex, in-depth studies and/or special projects which have an impact on programs.Conduct statistical analyses; develop staffing models and profiles and various other special reports.Author new position descriptions and revise outdated position descriptions, prepare job analysis for new/established positions and develop job competency questions for announcements. Responsible for coordinating external awards, preparing the annual Statement of Assurance and the Entity Level Assessment.Prepare staffing models for both the special agent/IOI offices. Maintain staffing and attrition profiles showing new hire special agent/IOIs placement, movement in the directorate and upcoming retirements.
