After spending 5 minutes with me you will know that I am passionate, excitable, and love a good challenge! I ask “Why?” A LOT and consider this to be the key to growing talent and the business. I like to shake things up. I am not your typical HR person (whatever that means) and work to encourage businesses to leverage HR teams to challenge the business and its people to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I believe in leveraging team member’s natural strengths and creating teams and environments where it is not only accepted but encouraged to be your authentic self. I prefer to spend my energy on dreaming, creating, and driving change instead of “putting on an act”; and I work to create a space where others can spend their energy on bringing their gifts to the business. I have some formal and professional credentials including my MBA, CPHR and SHRM-CP and I believe vehemently in life-long learning in all forms. This includes learning and leveraging technology. I love automating administration to focus on value-add activities. At the end of the day I love HR, I love business, and I love finding creative ways to make an impact – while encouraging others to do the same!
