ABOUT ROSALIND KABRHEL
Education: Associate Professor-of-the-Practice in the Legal Studies Program at Brandeis University and Co-Founder of the Brandeis Educational Justice Initiative. Courses include Introduction to Law (as a Joshua A. Guberman Fellow in Legal Studies), Investigating Justice, which explores the intersection of law and journalism in the legal system, Law & Psychology, Juvenile Justice, Experiences with Justice: a Criminal Justice Practicum, and Law & Society Internship and Seminar, the capstone course for minors in Legal Studies. I also taught Law, Journalism and Justice at Tufts University in Fall 2012. Academic areas of interests/expertise include wrongful conviction, civil rights and public policy.Law Practice: Civil Rights/Constitutional Law, Housing/Employment Discrimination; Government Law, Corporate & Business Law, Business & Civil Litigation, Family Law. Political Experience: Worked on Capitol Hill and for the Massachusetts Senate. Prepared policy briefs and drafted legislation and speeches. Instructed high school students and undergraduates about various policy issues, including oral and written advocacy. Volunteered on several political campaigns and performed opposition research and due diligence.
