ACCOUNT GENERAL MANAGER, Puerto Rico MMIS account, San Juan, PR, 10/2016 to present• Led the successful implementation of Phase 1 and 2 of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) for Puerto Rico. The project duration was 36 months with a total contract value of $64M.• Led the proposal, negotiation and execution of the MMIS Operations contracts. Contract duration was 54 months, with a total contract value of $49.5M.• Led the development of the MMIS Phase 3 proposal with a $31.6M value. • Managed all contracts with the Puerto Rico Department of Health. • Coordinated the processes to obtain all certificates required to provide services to the Government of Puerto Rico saving the company taxes for up to 29% of the invoiced amount. Worked with PR Government agencies, company controllership, and tax organizations to maintain required certificates for Fiscal Years 2017 through 2020.• Implemented the Operations team in Puerto Rico to support the system operations and the Fraud and Abuse Detection Unit.• Developed relationships with remote corporate organizations that provided Immunization Registry services to the PR Government and became the liaison with the client.• Developed relationships with other company organization in PR to leverage resources and processes to support our client and our employees.• Coordinated the development of HR and Payroll processes for local Puerto Rico organization.
