Project Controls Manager - Owner\'s Representative for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA)\'s Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Design-Build project. The $2.1 billion RPM program modernizes and rebuilds much of the century-old 9.6 mile corridor in some of Chicago\'s densest areas, and provides needed capacity.Providing program controls/ project controls management, change management, claim mitigation and management, budget cost management/cost controls, Contract management, for the complex large-scale, multi-project section, multi phase project. Managing all aspects of change and change order related work, systems, processes, and Contractor interface. Identifying requests and issues, investing underlying causes, seeking resolution. Evaluating change order proposals, recommending and processing change scope with full information - cost, justification, funding. Managing modification/changes to the Contracts. Resolving, and defending against claims. Identifying and negotiating early dispute resolution and alternative dispute resolutions.
