I am a senior AML and financial crime leader with deep expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management across Canadian Personal & Business Banking. Currently, I serve as Canadian P & BB AML Reporting Officer (AMLRO) and Director, AML Governance & Controls at BMO, where I am accountable for program effectiveness, regulatory engagement, and enterprise‑grade AML risk oversight. With extensive experience navigating complex regulatory environments, I specialize in building defensible, risk‑based AML frameworks that balance strong controls with practical business enablement. My work spans AML governance, issue management, regulatory change, monitoring and testing oversight, and executive reporting—ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory expectations while driving sustainable remediation and continuous improvement.
