About Rory Szeto
I’m Rory, an end-to-end mixed method UX Researcher with 6 years experience for medium to large size companies.Specializing in fintech and healthcare, I have worked in a fintech incubator for FIS, conducting research, facilitating human-centered design based workshops, and producing artifacts to help strategists and developers learn about our users\' frictions and desires. Prior to this, I was a UX consultant conducting evaluative research for Fortune500 companies such as Santander, Aetna, BCBS, and Microsoft.Driven by curiosity, I constantly want to understand the ‘why’ behind people’s choices. Having spent my early career working in nonprofits and having multiple of my own charity events, pairing this curiosity with a desire to help people inspires me to learn about users and create products that help conquer frictions and address needs.
