About Rory Dixon

I’m a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in International Politics and a concentration in foreign policy. My studies focused on Africa and the Middle East, with a range of thematic areas including water policy, counter-extremism, and development. I have extensive research and administrative experience working at think tanks covering issues ranging from Middle East geopolitics to women and gender equity, soft power, and domestic extremism. I’m a proud First-Generation/Low-Income college student, and throughout my time at Georgetown, I supported my fellow FGLI students working for the Georgetown Scholars Program, advocating for greater access and inclusion throughout the Georgetown community. I am a native Welsh speaker, an intermediate French speaker, and a conversational Arabic speaker. As an international student, I am authorized to work in the US and am actively looking for positions in international affairs, particularly in the non-governmental and think-tank sectors.
