About Rory Bloch

Hello there! I am Rory. I am a Biostatistician with extensive experience in the medical device field. I have worked on studies in a wide range of therapeutic areas such cardiovascular disease, spinal disorders, autoimmune disease, infectious disease, dermatology, ophthalmology and oncology. I have worked on all phases of clinical trials including pivotal studies for medical device as well as post-market studies for MDR and CER purposes. I have filled multiple roles ranging from production SAS programmer, programming analysis datasets, tables, listing, figures and efficacy analyses to being the lead statistician on projects, writing the statistical analysis plan and being the statistical subject expert when questions arise.Before being a biostatistician, I was an Operations Analyst in the finance industry, developing forecasting tools for budgeting purposes, as well as providing statistical and analytical support to marketing teams with direct marketing testing and analyses.I enjoy continuous learning in the statistical field, and finding new tools to solve new problems. Outside of statistics, I am an avid musician, playing in multiple groups as well as freelancing as a wedding guitarist. I also enjoy swimming and playing water polo.
