About Roopa Grewal
I am a mental health Peer Support Specialist in California. Since 2007, I have been sharing publicly about my journey to recovery and living successfully with Emotion Dysregulation Disorder (fka Borderline Personality Disorder). A Peer Advocate and Educator, I am now a Peer Counselor for people with mental health and substance use challenges. I am also a WRAP Facilitator. I choose to live my life authentically and deliberately, always focusing on intention. I use self-care, recovery language and compassion to forge ahead and help others. I was simply surviving. Now, I’m thriving and want to help others do so.(If I can do it, so can you.) My goal is to eradicate the stigma of mental health conditions in the US and India. My dream is for brain and physical disorders to be treated equally.
