ABOUT ROOPANK CHAUDHARY

Roopank is a global partner at Aon and serves as the Country Head for the Talent and Rewards consulting business, the largest consulting portfolio for the firm in India. He also heads the General Industry and Financial Institutions Practice along with the Mumbai Office. He has previously served as the Chief Commercial Officer. He is responsible for key client relationships and client development for all of Aon’s existing solutions as well as new products and partnerships. He sits on the India Leadership Team as well as the Asia Pacific Rewards leadership Team. He also manages all branding and thought leadership activities and is the lead spokesperson for all of Aon’s studies, conferences and industry partnerships in the media.He is the recipient of the first distinguished alumni award from Indian Institute of Management, Indore.Roopank has over 24 years of experience as a management consultant and banker, working with clients across banking, investment banking, asset management, insurance, private equity as well as business conglomerates. He was previously the India head for the Rewards and Benefits practice across all industry sectors for Korn Ferry working closely with partners in Executive Search to build a Go-To-Market strategy. He has worked with clients in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and the Middle East.Roopank has authored various articles and shared perspectives on management issues in leading Indian media publications and regularly contributes white papers and articles on HR. He is also frequently invited by media partners such as ETNow, Aajtak, India Today TV, CNBC etc. for proving his perspective around reward and talent trends. He partners with leading industry forums as a thought leader, and is a speaker in several annual seminars and HR forums and frequently invited by educational institutes for guest lectures. Roopank is a visiting faculty at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) where he takes classes on rewards and compensation. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Meghnad Desai of Academics, Mumbai. He has been a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Post Graduate Program in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) at Indian Institute of Management Indore. He is a founder investor in a peer-to-peer lending NBFC - India P2P that started operations in 2022, and has also received its first round of pre-seed funding by Antler.Outside of his work, he has published 4 anthologies of poems (available on amazon).
