Currently serving with PALLIUM India, a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre and United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). I oversee programs across eight states in the Northeast and West Bengal.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: Successfully fostered collaborations with state governments and other institutions for training, workshops, knowledge sharing, MoUs, and Terms of Engagement. Received \"Letters of Appreciation” from the Government of Manipur and Meghalaya. Catalyzed the establishment of numerous new Palliative Care centres and services. Part of the organizing committee for IAPCON 2020, held at Guwahati, Assam. Contributed to the development of health indicators to measure Palliative Care development in Lower Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). Coordinated with the National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India for identifying champions and experts from Northeast India for Palliative Care state-level trainings. Resource Person (Speaker) at various events of Palliative Care. I have written numerous blog posts.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Catalyzing new palliative care centres and services, facilitating health infrastructure and funding. Assisting in opioid accessibility across all regions and medical institutes. Enabling palliative care learning in medical institutes. Building community engagement and volunteer mobilization. Developing pain-free hospitals by eliminating serious health-related sufferings. Providing coordination support in cooperating with other branches, field offices, and donors. Participating in coordinating stakeholder engagement in constructive dialogues and recruitment support. Providing support in drafting new project proposals and concept notes. Conducting analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and risks, and implementing contingency and mitigation measures.
