About Ronny Straube
I am leading the Modeling and Simulation group at Pioneering Medicines where we provide PK/PD and fit-for-purpose/QSP modeling capabilities (either in-house or through CROs) to support early feasibility questions and pre-IND programs across therapeutic areas. In my previous role at Bristol Myers Squibb I was leading the immuno-oncology QSP group where we developed QSP and fit-for-purpose mathematical models to support preclinical research as well as clinical programs by informing dosing decisions, dose optimization, target candidate profiles and biomarker analysis. Previously, I spent 10+ years in basic research in systems biology (Max Planck Institute Magdeburg), theoretical biophysics (Hahn Meitner Institute Berlin) and as a full professor for biomathematics (University Erlangen-Nuernberg).
