Directs and organizes nearly a dozen IT Specialists, an Electronics Technician, and a Lead IT Specialist in technical work / projects providing a variety of IT Services.• Responsible for the development and performance of action plans related to the design, development and management of systems, software, networks and procedures supporting the Division\'s requirements.• Provides expertise necessary to solve complex problems that hinder the development of operation of information systems.• Directs and organizes nearly a dozen IT Specialists, an Electronics Technician, and a Lead IT Specialist in technical work / projects providing a variety of IT Services.• Sets the units mission and vision, budgeting requirements for staff, travel, and contractors.• Completes performance write-ups, awards, and promotion packages for staff.• Sets the standards in providing desktop and mobility support for overseas operations.• Facilitates in overseas office renovations, break / fix scenarios, and technical assistance visits• Prepares project status reports as required by higher management.• Work with project users to gain an understanding of the user\'s environment; to define issues and problems; and, to determine project requirements.• Prepares written and oral presentations for assigned project to be delivered to top management personnel in the Division, to other technical specialists within and outside the FBI, to user management personnel, to other technical specialist within and outside the FBI, to other user representatives, and to representatives from external organizations such as the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of State.• Reviews work of employees to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and conformance to policies, accepting or rejecting same.• Determines staffing requirements, prepares request to fill vacancies, and determines candidates to be interviewed for vacancies and selects same.
