About Ronniet Biala

I am a law student with a passion for lifelong growth and learning. During school, I participated in close to 15 MUNs where I earned awards on numerous occasions as a delegate, served as an executive board member and contributed to organising teams for several conferences, a passion I carry today as a member of the prestigious Debate Society of OP Jindal Global University. My leadership positions in school included Assistant Head Boy, Head Boy and Council Secretary General of the school student council and today at Jindal Global Law School and in university I represent my section as a class representative and the first year BA LLB (Hons) cohort as a Batch Representative alongside being a member of a committee of the JGLS Students Grievance Resolution Cell to provide redressal for concerns that are raised by students. I was also a founding member of Awaam ki Awaaz, an organisation focusing on introducing and teaching public speaking skills in NGOs, where I served as a founding member and Head of Logistics. I have also been recognised for my submissions in various national and international essay writing competitions, a passion which I have tried to build upon by currently working with the Jindal Policy Research Lab and Cyril Shroff Centre for AI, Law and Regulation as a research assistant on various pressing policy issues and communicating them through my written submissions.I look forward to pursuing any internship opportunities that come my way so that I can continue learning and contribute meaningfully to any team I join.
