As the Lead UX Designer at HR Acuity, I oversee a cross-functional team of UX researchers and designers within the Product organization. I drive the strategic UX vision across all product lines—ranging from employee-facing platforms (Speakfully) to manager tools (managER), a robust investigation and case management platform (HR Acuity), and analytics/benchmarking solutions.In this role, I make daily strategic decisions that shape how UX contributes to product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and delivery. I partner closely with Product, Engineering, SMEs, and leadership to modernize legacy experiences, redesign core workflows, and guide difficult prioritization conversations tied to seasonal release cycles.A major focus of my work includes defining how AI supports employee relations investigations—evaluating opportunities through the lens of best practices, liability, compliance, and operational efficiency.I also led the end-to-end creation of our enterprise design system, ensuring it is fully documented, scalable, and integrated seamlessly across Figma, Figma Make, CodeConnect, and our design QA process—establishing consistent patterns, accessibility standards, and a modern visual language across all HR Acuity products.Core highlights- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary UX team (research, design, design ops)- Own UX strategy across 4 product lines with distinct audiences and use cases- Modernizing the legacy HRA platform’s IA, UI, and workflows- Drive AI exploration for investigation workflows with a risk-aware, best-practice approach- Built HR Acuity’s design system from the ground up and embedded it across the full product lifecycle- Built Benchmarking & Analytics from scratch, including AI-driven insights and data visual storytelling- Facilitate cross-team alignment on roadmap priorities, UX direction, and experience standards.
