I created a solution that provided a centralised platform for assessing, prioritising, assigning and reporting progress on all adhoc tasks across the team. The system eliminated several duplicated tasks. • Cost Savings & Analytics: At N Brown Group, I was responsible for identifying and resolving several significant issues with promotional discounts and product pricing. I chaired a forum following completion of an audit which delivered £2.9m in savings over 4 months. I received a business award following the success of the project. I have also delivered tangible savings in other businesses including £0.8m in savings at Co-op following my involvement in supplier negotiations. • Staff training: I played a key role in establishing a new Governance forum at Co-op. I was responsible for creating extensive documentation and delivering business case training to over 100 colleagues following the launch of the forum. I have also delivered Excel training in several roles. • Process Improvements: At LADbible, I reduced the time taken to issue the weekly business performance report from 3 days to ½ day. I remotely managed a data entry team (x4 FTEs) and significantly improved the accuracy of reporting through the development of control checks and rollout of peer reviews. At Latham & Watkins I semi-automated several financial models whilst also embedding several automated control checks. • Financial Modelling: I have extensive experience of developing robust, user-targeted financial models including numerous scenario based forecast, budget and customer profitability models across several businesses. • Systems Implementations: Validated accuracy of new data warehouses in several businesses.• Tenders: I have extensive experience of calculating cost to serve models on new business opportunities (£0.5-£70m)
