Leading on the expansion of the Digital Accessibility programme in the organisation, by building a high performing Accessibility team and implementing process and governance. My remit encompasses preventing digital barriers to customer engagement through best practices and guidelines on web content and customer insights throughout the whole user journey. I mobilise cross-functional teams working in different locations towards remediation of current issues while embedding Accessibility with Agile and Design Ops principles. I monitor trends and improvements while identifying areas that need remediation through training. My role also involves galvanising a community of 500+ Accessibility enthusiasts towards a professional approach to Inclusive User Experience. I have built and led a high performing team of specialists towards acquiring RNIB accreditation for the EE app - first in UK Telecoms.
