ABOUT RONGCHENG LI
I believe in: Before I can be “good”, I am “bad”; before I can be “bad”, I must go out to try. What we do today(Current You) determines the outcomes of tomorrow(Future You), so focus on long-term needs, and self-discipline to overcome the “wants”, not the “needs”. Everyone is capable and has the necessary resources to achieve the objectives they want. Identifying myself as a first-generation immigrant in Canada has largely shaped my unique perspectives and aspirations. I was born in China and went to schools in US and Spain. I speak Mandarin, English, and French, as being trilingual comes with a whole host of cognitive gains, which can expose an individual to diverse customs, ideas, and perspectives from different cultures. When I am not working, you probably find me playing piano, saxophone, or ukulele. I love to read and travel. I am a Human Library Speaker and volunteer regularly. I am passionate about Environmental, social, and governance(ESG). Life is complicated enough without having to worry about your or your kid\'s education, my job is to help you through the maze of options, and work towards high-quality education resources with my 10+ years of professional experience in international education & EdTech business, so: 1. Twice received the “Best International Education Services Organization” for helping students survive in Canada. Completed 20 partnership agreements yearly that led to 20% year-over-year revenue growth. I love my job! I am organized and self-directed with a strong sense of urgency & collaboration and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, I am globally connected with rich educational resources in international partnerships and student exchange programs to offer creative and innovative solutions for the education industry. I am a person who can quickly adapt to change. I am calm when working under pressure, do not overreact to minor issues, and consider disagreements to be constructive. Professional skills/certificates I have: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Project Management, Project Management Professional, Business Analytics Specialization, Human Resources Management. Please feel free to contact me, and I’m always looking forward to an insightful conversation over coffee, or even better, playing music together!
