About Rong Bao

I graduated from Yale School of the Environment with a Master of Environmental Management degree. I specialize in the intersection of Environmental Policy Analysis and Climate Change Science & Solutions, focusing on global environmental governance and international climate policy. Having completed two internships with the United Nations, I obtained skills and experiences to facilitate multinational partnerships and the science-policy interface of climate change. I worked on the first Global Stocktake under the Paris Agreement at and the science-policy interface of climate and air pollution at UNEP. I participated in COP26-COP28 as the co-founder of 2030CLIMATE+ and Youth Mentor for the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate to empower youth voices and engagement in climate decisions.

   Produce the first climate-related podcast show in China, Let’s TalC!(“”), that focuses on climate change education, green industry, and sustainable development topics; the podcast won the 2021 Climate Innovation Grant by Yale Center for Business and the Environment• Plan and execute the grant-making progress, research funding opportunities, and manage budget; • Establish and maintain partnerships with scholars, policymakers, and private sector leaders, and youth organizations worldwide; held roundtable discussions with youth leaders from around the world on youth empowerment in climate actions at COP26 and COP27
