Analyse legally executed agreements to understand and recommend the revenue recognition process and comply with the execution of the contracts based on the contractual rights and obligations. Execute and oversee monthly global revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance to US GAAP• Work cross functionally with accounting/Finance, Legal, Sales operations, FP & A, A/R, A/P, Tax etc. to develop scalable processes and drive steady revenue improvements. • Review current revenue recognition processes (ASC 606/IFRS 15), and invoicing procedures to improve efficiency & timeliness of the close and reporting process and calculate Bad Debt Allowances using AR• Provide detailed and analytical explanations of variances in actual financial data both month over month variances and variances between actual results and forecasts• Prepare month-end adjusting journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules related to Revenue Segments• Partner with FP & A to prepare revenue forecast and assist in the budgeting process as needed to project future growth • Support external auditors in the annual audits, implement audit recommendations and enhance internal operational procedures and financial control as part of our SOX compliance efforts • Perform reconciliations of B/S&I/S accounts and present account reconciliation summary to management on regular basis• Apply tax laws and regulations of Domestic and International jurisdictions such as VAT, GST using sales tax software applications such as Avalara.
