I’m passionate about leadership that serves people, teams that thrive, and communities that flourish.For over 35+ years, I’ve served in senior leadership roles across ministry, business, government, and nonprofit sectors. My career journey has included co-founding and revitalizing churches, leading growth initiatives in established congregations, consulting with thousands of leaders and organizations, and serving in elected civic roles. Today, I serve as Lead Pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, KY - a historic congregation experiencing fruitful growth and community engagement under our shared vision. I also partner with leaders globally through coaching, consulting, and speaking, focusing on healthy teams, effective strategy, and adaptive leadership. PersonalI’m a husband to Cheryl, and father to two sons and their spouses. We’re blessed with granddaughters and one grandson who keep life joyful and full of wonder. When I’m not leading, writing, or coaching, I enjoy travel, reading, and exploring ways to make leadership accessible and transformative for people from all walks of life

Once again) lead pastor of this historic church. We are becoming a regional “family” of churches. We now have 4 in-person campuses, an online campus and our television ministry campus.
