In my role, I take on strategic HR projects/programs that have Laboratory wide impact (e.g. HR Policy, Audit Liaison, Telecommuting posture, Alternate Work Work Week Elections/implementation, etc). Additionally, as the Alternate Functional Area Manager for Training and Qualifications (T&Q FAM), I assure performance management and oversight of T&Q FAM requirements. I lead various assessment of training (Joint-Functional Line Management Assessments, Management Self-Assessment (MSA) and other audit requirements. I respond to requirements or requests from the Management Assurance System (MAS), Contractor Assurance System (CAS). I address items related to training compliance in the Issues Tracking System (ITS). I develop and sustains DOE Complex collaborative agreements (Memorandum of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement) around shared training and facilitates course equivalency determinations. I draft the Annual Training Report and the Integrated Health of the Program review annually. I routinely acts act in the absence of the T&Q FAM.
