About Ron Sanders
A decorated public servant with over 50 years of experience leading, studying, and advising organizations and leaders at all levels of government in the US and abroad, Dr. Ron Sanders has achieved an international reputation as a public management thought leader and innovator. A Fellow of the prestigious National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA), he has senior leadership experience in government—in five different agencies—the private sector, and academe. Dr. Sanders has co-authored four books, including two published by the Brookings Institution and one by NAPA, and numerous articles, and in addition to USF, he has taught on the faculties of Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, the George Washington University (GWU), and the Brookings Institution. He earned his Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) from GWU and holds a B.A. from USF and an M.S. from the University of Utah.
