Program Coordinator of Athletics plans, manages, and supervises a comprehensive parish wide athletics program including athletic leagues, instructional programs, day camps, and special events. Prepares and manages annual budget for athletic program functions. Approves purchases of supplies and operating inventory for athletic programs. Develops alternative funding sources for programs and improvements. Assists the department director in short and long range planning for a comprehensive parish wide athletic program; proposed long range capital improvement and development of facilities, equipment and programs. Performs public relation duties; responds to complaints; handles all league suspensions and rule enforcement. Schedules facilities with schools and other entities for program, tournament, and/or league use.
