ABOUT RONALD PETERSEN
Extensive trial experience in construction law, personal injury litigation, real estate disputes, environmental law, estate disputes, shareholder or partnership disputes, mortgage disputes, collection issues and estate issues. Help assist clients with the resolution of their legal issues even if not in my field of expertise. My goal is to help clients reduce their problems. I am developing some special skills in managing large document cases with technology. I recently spoke to the Canadian Caucus of the American Association of Justice in New York. I spoke to the same group in Chicago last summer on the concept of proportionality in Civil Litigation. It was an excellent convention with thousands of attendees. I recently spoke at construction law conferences in Toronto in December, 2012 and 2013 and 2014 on the topic of Construction liens. I spoke in 2016 on the interplay between mortgages and construction liens. I also organized three luncheon seminars in Ottawa to discuss construction issues with some great speakers. They were attended by over 300 people in the construction industry. They were terrific networking events. I am presently organizing seminars dealing with the new Construction Act for the firm\'s clients and will be speaking to those in the construction industry through the OCA. Specialties: All areas of construction law from beginning to end. I defend construction delay claims on behalf of general contractors and owners.
