About usThe Scranton Ronald McDonald House (RMHNEPA) supports families of seriously ill children in an environment based in compassion, comfort, and hope. Our programs include a Ronald McDonald House, four Ronald McDonald Family Rooms with two at Moses Taylor Hospital, one at GeisingerCMC, and one at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center and supported by two Happy Wheels hospitality visiting programs. Our core programs at capacity which can serve up to 50 families daily, are built on the foundation of providing compassionate support to families —including comfortable rooms, daily meals, complimentary van service to the hospital, and the support of other families who understand—so that they can stay together and stay focused on the health and well-being of their child and their family as a whole. Our four Ronald McDonald Family Rooms extend the support of our House program into the hospital, offering a quiet respite space just steps away from the hospital room bedside to families with children receiving treatment at one of our region\'s hospitals. Our Happy Wheels hospitality carts expand our reach even further by providing complimentary snacks, beverages, toys, and other amenities to families with children in the hospital.
