I am a co-founder of Afya Rekod, a platform that leverages blockchain, AI, and predictive disease management to improve healthcare in Africa and beyond. With over 25 years of experience in academic and private practice dermatology, I am also a triple board certified dermatologist who specializes in general, surgical, and cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology. As a health sciences clinical professor of dermatology at UC Irvine Health, I teach and conduct research on various dermatological topics, including global health and skin cancer. I am passionate about using my expertise and skills to empower health institutions, partners, and patients to make insightful real-time data-driven decisions that can save lives and enhance health outcomes.
