About Ronald A. Marks
Ronald “Ron” Marks is a D.C. based CIA, Capitol Hill, and Cyber executive with four decades experience in the U.S. national security and cyber communities. A former CIA official, Ron was a clandestine service officer and a Senate Liaison for five Directors of Central Intelligence. He went on to serve on Capitol Hill as Intelligence Counsel to two Senate Majority Leaders - Robert Dole and Trent Lott. As a 25 year veteran cyber defense and software corporate executive, Ron maintains his continued involvement with cyber and intelligence related matters as a member of various Intelligence Community and Defense advisory groups both in and outside the government. Marks is currently a Term Visiting Professor at George Mason University\'s Schar School of Government and Policy. Ron lectures on national security policy and technology issues. He will also be teaching courses on Intelligence matters. He is also President of ZPN Cyber and National Security Strategies where he serves as its chief Cyber and National Security Consultant developing successful strategies for corporations and high net worth individuals seeking successful entry into the Federal market place An Internationally recognized expert in strategic cyber policy development and Intelligence/Defense policy/budget issues, Marks also acts as ZPN’s chief adviser focusing on these issues for both government and corporate policy makers. A published author of numerous national security related journal articles and op-eds, Marks has also written the well received book \"Spying In America in the Post 9/11 World: Domestic Threat and the Need for Change\"(Praeger).
