Founder of Kids Connect

Kids Connect offers free, hands-on workshops that are conducted through zoom to educate kids in the STEAM curriculum. I built a team of youth volunteers from middle and high schools, and they are connecting and teaching kids of younger ages. Together we have created core values for Kids Connect such as making learning fun, having it hands-on, and being inclusive. Volunteers have designed their own workshops, and we have over 30 different workshops to offer. We have supervisors on the call to help the workshops run smoothly and ensure that every kid reaches the final outcome of the workshop. Some of our workshops include coding, robotics, crafting, origami, chess, and many more. I started this organization with the mission is to motivate and empower youth to make education accessible to kids all around the world. I have partnered with several libraries, organizations, as well as large corporations and delivered workshops to reach more kids. I have established community service projects to involve youth in the community and spread awareness of giving back. In one such project, youth created and donated 500 cards to local first responders. Additionally, I run a program called Kids Spotlight, where I invite role model youth to talk about their experiences in benefiting the community and strongly encourage other youth to do the same. I am working with PA Senators Scott Martin, chair of the education committee, and Katie Muth to bring Kids Connect programs to schools across Pennsylvania. This platform is aimed at empowering youth with the tools and resources needed so that they can be successful in the future.
