Vehicle Certification & regulatory experience has covered the Asia Pacific, India, Africa, South America,USA,China, Korea,Russia, Uzbekistan and EU regions, securing Component, System level & vehicle certification and Type Approvals to most of the major regulatory environments - UNECE, EU, FMVSS and country specific regulations.Current experience allows me to assist and engage with vehicle Design & Engineering team by ensuring the necessary regulatory requirements for a wide range of markets.Representing General Motors in various regulation formulation forums such as AFAI, AAPC (NHTSA through AFAI & AAPC) & OICA committees. Provide regulatory interpretation to development team. Liaison for Propulsion regulations for ICE & BEV vehicles including its Fuel economy and energy consumption / Range. My areas of specialization include Homologation, Conformity of Production, Technical Regulations, Liaising with various authorized agencies,(Technical Agencies Such as IDIADA, TUV, Lux control and Type Approval Authorities such as VCA, RDW, SNCH & Spanish Ministry). Strong program and project management skill including Translating customer voice into Technical Requirements for Future regulations. Advanced feasibility study with Planning and engineering team. Balancing Key Attributes of Vehicle Definition, estimating initial Budget, resource, and timing assessment as per Global Vehicle Development Program.
