As a well credentialed, relationship-oriented healthcare executive, I am passionate about creating the best work environment for physicians, medical professionals, and all support staff. With extensive experience in operations, finance, regulatory compliance, and program management, I ensure the finest quality healthcare for our patients and the community.LEADERSHIP: Having progressed from a credentialed nurse to hospital CEO in 25+ years, I understand the most pressing needs of physicians, clinical services, and facility administration. Through collaboration, strategic planning, and communicating vision and strategy up and down the organization, I generate broad consensus in streamlining operations for everyone’s benefit.HOSPITAL & COMMUNITY RELATIONS: I engage physicians as collaborative partners, and forge constructive relationships of the Board of Trustees members, in resolving important needs. Highly visible to employees, I know staff members by name and remove barriers to success, resulting in low attrition. In the community, I construct favorable alliances with local leaders, agencies, and volunteers.OPERATIONS: I deftly oversee medical staff, patient programs, finance and budgeting, quality of healthcare / clinical services, risk control, safety, regulatory compliance, nursing competency, accreditations, staff training, medical services and equipment additions, and facility maintenance. PHILOSOPHY: Off the job, I enjoy mentoring through the American College of Healthcare Executives, and serving on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club.
